Including the old tank off Ebay - £600...
Just to add... How much without the tank cost? Also how long did they take doing it? Cheers

Re: 520 chain conversion

So other than maybe rotation mass savings, is there any other advantage of a 520 chain vs standard? I don't really see how a small thinner chain will last as long as say a 530(if that's standard?)

Re: Covid 19 virus

Same as my wife, her first positive test was Xmas day, and although she's improving a little each day she can't focus her attention on anything; is always weary and can't get her enthusiasm to work. Can't get to sleep, and sleeps fitfully, which is odd considering how tired she is all day. She mana...

Re: New bike, no doubt a new project!

After much contemplation, I though t I'd use up some old fazer 600 fairing bits too make a more upright fairing for the storm. My thinking is, Im not very confident in the current rising position. Don't know why, I'm just not. So I'll do a rental bar conversion the same time I swap my front forks. I...

Re: Vfr tank

I've msged the people who fabricated tgat tank, cheers for the project link! I'm not sure if they look ugly or not as I've not found decent pictures of the conversion. The only one I think I've found that looks like deffinatly a vfr is this: content://com.android.chrome.FileProvider/images/screensho...

Vfr tank

I've read a post on the superhawk forum of how to get a vfr800 tank to fit the storm. Just wondering if anyone here has done it or possibly done it differently to relining the seat etc(I'll try to link the post I'm referring too) also real world experience of riding with vfr tank, is it comfortable ...

Re: New bike, no doubt a new project!

Right I did one at a time to avoid mixing bits up! Any thoughts on the setup I now have? Pilot screws are 2turns out front and 2&1/4turns out rear, 182rear, 180front. Aussie stacks fitted with a Pipercross and snorkel removed, open cans. Do I need to shim the needles as well? I've also read a fe...

Re: New bike, no doubt a new project!

Been taking the carbs apart to sort out jetting today. Pilots were marked 48s on both and front main was 175 rear was 178. Can someone tell me if this is stock for a UK bike?
