No such thing as bad tyres these days just make sure the front is a softer compound, ive mixed and matched tyres for years mainly using track day tyres as the middle is like new, under-inflated tyres can afford more grip but dont over inflate tyres (less grip) and never use over sized tyres this is ...

Had both and preferred each for different reasons. Overall I thought the VTR was the better bike-but the TL would pummel it in a straight line :evil: The TL engine (what year was yours bm?) was better than the VTR's for free revving power. The VTR's is thumpier/gruntier and better in some respects ...

I use an XR400 plug spanner, fits downd the head and has a hex on the end you can put a socket over, then your torque wrench
Late bite
My storm clutch bites really late, right at the end of the levers travel, no drag no slip. Also 1st to 2nd is horrible! opinions?
