Re: Well you asked for another Ducati build

As this build finishes my mind turns to the next project, I have 6 months to think about it as I like to ride over the summer months... Yesterday I moved the cars and bikes out of the garage so I could give it all a good clean. Moving the bikes around made me realize just how heavy the Guzzi feels ...

Re: Renthal Flat bar handlebar conversion.

I had been thinking about this for a while. I noticed some flex in the Renthal Ultra Low handlebars I fitted, mainly when picking the bike from the side stand. So after a recent discussion on this with a very good friend of mine I have decided to fit a Renthal handlebar brace. It has certainly made ...

Re: Well you asked for another Ducati build

Flippin' 'eck Tony you don’t hang around, another fine build, well done 8) 8)

I can imagine it is nimble with that weight and power.

Don't you just love the simple fix when you are looking for something more complicated, well done to your friend and his multimeter :D :D

Re: Rear seat fairing needed.

Good luck in finding one with the bottom lugs intact as they are not the strongest points on the seat fairing. However I have seen occasionally an intact one appear on Ebay.

Fingers crossed you don't have to wait too long,

Chris.

Re: The RD400 drag bike

I had a Quick Look on old road tests and CycleWorld in the USA tested the 1190 Adventure and got a 1/4 mile time of 10.6s. So now i need to go back and see if I can launch it more aggressively to find that missing second. Maybe I should leave TC on as the rubbered track is so grippy I don’t think t...
