What Is The Best

What is the best remedy for the failing chrome on the oil pipes at the front of the engine, that go up to the oil cooler? apart from the obvious of buying new pipes.

cheers Chris.

Hi Fireman, Well I was going to ask Tony but seeing as you've done the same bar convertion can you tell me, do you actually drill two holes for the new risers in the exsisting top plate of the yoke? I'm pleased for you that the new riding position has meant you can keep the Storm, Cheers Chris.

Warren thats exactally the reply I wanted to hear, that was also my way of thinking that it might help to cut down on the stalling at junctions etc (I know some VTR owners don't experience stalling but I do) I have ordered a pair which should arrive today, along with a puncture preventative sealant....

FAO Jacey boy

Just been looking at your SP1 pictures. I've got to say she looks in immaculate condition, a very cool machine. What do you think of the SP1 after the Storm, I know the handling will be up compared to the Storms standard suspension and obviously it will have more power being fuel injected but apart ...

Hi Chipset, Thankyou for your reply, but I have actually worked that one out now using the print preview. When you are viewing different posts on this site do you find some of them appear in a wide format ( where I have to move the page over to read it all ) or is it just me, Thanks Chris.

Dont take this as gospel either,
but it might just save you a few pounds. I was told that Honda use NSK bearings as genuine parts (NSK 6204DU) if you go direct to a bearing manufacturer/supplier you will save yourself about 8 quid per bearing!
Let us know how you get on!

cheers Chris.
