Re: An idiots guide to the Firestorm

I changed mine befor Chris had done his excellent piece and I used the Haynes manual. The information in there is not wrong, it just could be clearer as on the fron pot the lobes point away and on the rear it's the other way round. Sorry to be grumpy earlier - these are great bikes and with the man...

Re: "Bandit" Helmets

The look nice, I have a Roof helmet ( boxer ) this looks quite nice.

I'm sure those helmets will be D.O.T only, so if you get a copper who knows what there looking at it could be trouble, I've never known this to happen tho.

Re: An idiots guide to the Firestorm

Thank you, the workshop day sounds pretty good to me I only live in Purfleet. I'm not bad at mechanic, I used to strip and rebuild desiel engines and was compairing the tensioners to them. I do a lot of work on my Harley but the engine probably has more in common with a steam engine than a state of ...

With the manual CCTs if I bought some and got the shop to fit them, what would I need to do with them, turn then once per mileage, yearly?.

Sorry to blast you with questions.

An idiots guide to the Firestorm

I have briefly owned a Firestorm before but didnt keep it long enough to really get stuck in, my main concern with it was the CCTs so PLEASe could someone answer the questions as simple as possible for me. 1. What warning ( if any ) do you get before the CCTs go. 2. What is the simplist and/or cheap...
