glad to see another one finding the joys of the track! :thumbup: it becomes very addicting and expensive quite quickly. i started in C group (novice) and moved through B and now i ride A group. around here they have "qualifying" lap times to ride in each group that way you dont get people ...

While if you bent valves you need far more than CCTs. Its easy enough to pull the headers and see if the valves are straight. Then pull the carbs and do the same thing. You would have to re-drill the holes into the subframe as the spacing between the two mounting holes is different. mine doesnt have an "enlarger" in it at all. but it fits right onto the nipple so i dont think the "enlarger" is needed

Not really because if one was to buy say...a new Nitron shock you can specify the spring weight so have the right spring. Also being new there is no need for a service/re-gas. (:-}) thats not how ever company does it. a lot of companys (ohlins and others) fit a standard spring then you can purchase...

But most shocks, unless you get it custom made, are gonna need to be sorted for your weight anyways so new or used, if you want optimum performance, its gonna cost you

anythings better than the stock unit. although there is no compression damping adjustment. for not much more than that you can get a used ohlins triple clicker with remote preload adjuster (no need to get out spanners for preload adjustment) around the same price you can find a penske or a fox etc...
