No e-clip used with stock needles just 1 .5mm washer under each needle So the washers you have should be fine.

Thanks guys. It has been a rough year here as the bike has been ridden once this year. The cancer is back, so in clinical trials to deal with that. Which could be bad enough but I also managed to do nerve damage to my left hand (long story) so at this point I have major issues pulling in the clutch....

On the topic of brake pads I have a bit different opinion on what is "best" which is very subjective. I run either Vesrah RJL or SRJL the other option would be Zcoo pads. Either is worth the extra cost involved IMHO.
