Thanks really pleased its out, I can now have choice of lowers. the full belly pan or the std cone or just go naked. The oil pan I got was a good (silly) price and was off a 2004 the part numbers is different for the 2002 onwards compared to the earlier models probably just a part number change but ...

Had to sacrifice the oil pan to get the bolt out, Dremeling the lug away to expose the shaft, little devil was still refusing to budge with only 5mm or so of meat at the top, unable to move left right to break corrosion as sump location dowels prevented that, only option was tap sump down, but this ...

Well, its sump off today... plan A to remove sheared sump bolt failed, got nice center pop went in with small drill to start off then went to drill size for the easyout extractor went in a treat good depth and hold but it snapped, so Plan B sump off. Exhaust came off in one piece as bike was on its ...

Little job done Starter motor cable and nut rusted unable to turn really did not want to damage the stator plate/bolt connector, rendering the starter motor US..... searched forum and found a post saying cut down the center of the bolt tap two halves of the nut off the bolt. Started to sort the plumbing out doing a dry fit, supplied carb coolant pipes front and back are a little longer than the OEM ones.

Drained coolant Left and right rads off doing a deep clean of exterior casing etc before new coolant hoses fitted. Found my lost tank collars under the coolant bottle happy days as Mr. Honda wants a fiver a piece. And the dropped airbox screw is in the casting behind the main engine bolt. Every blo...
