Re: Exhaust sleeve inserts
I had a search and could not find the thread, anyone point me in the direction. (Late replying coz only get access at the weekend, and last weekend was at the Thistle Rally). Tatony.mon wrote:Search on here; Benny Hedges posted a while back about a much cheaper alternative automotive part.

Re: Exhaust sleeve inserts
Wicky, thanks for that. I should have thought about them before I sent for the exhaust port gasket rings.

Re: Bar Risers - Any views as to OK or not
Jeez...thanks for all the replies. I will defer the dropping of the forks then, probably get lynched if I did. Got all your advice onboard and will make my mind up soon enough. Think I will go for the risers I mentioned in the first post, look good and hopefully should set the bars where I want them...

Re: Bar Risers - Any views as to OK or not
Got similar ones on mine but 75mm(3") ones. the one vital factor is that they allow the bars to clear the top of the the fork legs - not sure those will.... Add in extra for longer brake and clutch lines, electrics and throttle cables are just long enough but need a little re-routing. I had to...

Bar Risers - Any views as to OK or not
HI..love the bike but have always had an upright riding position so I intend to put risers and hopefully my Renthal superbike bars I had on my 1200 Bandit. Thought I might buy these risers. I will need to trim the fairing a bit from the mirror back to the leading edge, I know. Has anyone any history...

Jazz. I got one from the Arnold Clarke Honda Car Showroom up next to Asda. They are standard car fitments. Cost £2.36 including vat.

Re: How to remove and refit CCT's on the Firestorm
Hi, in the process now of replacing the cct. I do not have a locking tool. Is it ok to remove the old cct without turning in twice and locking off. What would be the result of just unbolting and removing the old cct.
Thanks..
Thanks..

Clock lights come on when braking
Noticed a strange thing earlier. Started the bike up with the lights off. Applied the front brake and there was a glow from the clocks when I applied the brake. Is this normal. Thought about some internal check going on. Or do I have an electrical problem.
Any thoughts..
