Hugger & indicators (indies sold)
Got a fibre glass hugger that I took off straight after buying, 2 reasons I suppose, 1stly it's quite long over the wheel, it is a good fit, sounds silly but I don't like that look, 2ndly it's a bit tatty, spray job not the best and there are a few chips and chunks etc. (easy fix) Also got full set ...

Re: Breather pipes, how many?
Sure mine has 4, as the one from the water pump housing is in a clip above the starter motor and exits by gen cover
Thanks for throwing that spanner in the works Carl
Any body got a pic as to where their pipes hang down

Breather pipes, how many?
Hi all, question on how many breather type pipes there should be hanging down from the engine area. This is how it went---- It's something I had taken much notice of until today. Went out for a run and needed to fill up (as usual  ), pulled into the filler station next to the pumps, (not lookin...

Re: Tank grips.. removal ..
Had similar problem myself, just lightly sprayed wd and gently peeled off. Once the bulk was off, I then cleaned again with wd to get rid of all the sticky 5hit, then used 'muckoff' type cleaner after to remove the film that wd leaves behind. Now ready for new pad

Re: Vinyl Wrap
I would think that a hair dryer on hot setting would do a good enough job as all you are looking to do is warm the vinyl enough to make it soft and pliable enough stretch around the curved bitsgrumpyfrog wrote:

It's not all about what you do, it's mixed with what you eat too. With the job I do I eat lightly all week, have a drink only 1 night, then have a go at the weekend  :D  I also play 18,27,36 or 45 holes of golf a week too, mostly in the summer, light nights and all, great excersise, can ...

Re: Rubbers don't stay? ooooerrr
I also recommend gluing the two rubber strips on the tank, where it meets the front of the seat, these can fall off or split rather easily. That was my next question about rubbers :D The one on the left side is fine, the one the right is split and hanging on by a thread, can I get a replacement for...

Rubbers don't stay? ooooerrr
:redface :redface :redface There you go, open attack on your fellow friends  Back to the job, took my tank off, to do bits and bobs, put it back on, but them pesky rubbers that go on the bottom rim don't want to stay in place. I have tried them all ways round but can't get them to stay. I have ...
