Carburettor mixture, how is itadjusted?
Picked up my new Firestorm on Saturday, and the engine died on me while changing up from 1st into 2ng gear before I'd even pulled out of the dealers car park! Well, I just assumed that it was operator error, being a new bike & all that, so I just fired it up again and pissed off before anyone no...

Thanks a lot
I see that the two lower fixings screws are hidden behind the instrument panel, does this mean the clocks have to be removed in order to fit a new screen?

Most effective replacement screen please?
So, I picked up the Firestorm on Saturday and discovered within 10 miles of riding that the screen/half fairing offers considerably less wind protection than my CBR600. :( sh1t! So I need a replacement screen (DB?) that will direct the windblast away from me. Any recommendations would be gratefully ...

Performance Bikes suspension set-up?
Anybody got a link to the text & data that those Performing Berks printed about setting up the VTR suspension please?
Also anybody tried the settings, and do they work?
Cheers

Well that's it....
I've gone & done it! I'll be picking up a yellow pre-reg from Bridge m/cycles in Exeter on Saturday. I didn't get the red colour I really wanted and I know I paid over the odds, but I made the mistake of going into the showroom armed with my flexible friends, and was like a rabbit in the spotlig...

Thanks everyone
Much appreciated. I presume carb-icing is not a problem then as nobody mentioned it? I've only just found out that front & rear suspension on the VTR has limited adjustment (all my previous machines have been fully tweakable), is this a major problem, as I certainly don't want to buy a bike and ...

Thanks Ian
Much appreciated. I had a couple of Hinkley Triumphs before the CBR and was shocked when the 600 returned an average of 10 mpg less at 45 mpg, which is why I'm so concerned about petrol consumption, so the prospect of getting even lower fuel economy is not appealing. :? Nonetheless if the VTR has ot...

Shall I buy a Firestorm?
I realise that by posing this question on this forum I'm likley to receive a biased response, but I'd appreciate your opinions anyway. I'm currently riding a CBR600FS-1 and although I'm impressed with Honda build quality, I'm less than enamoured with the amount of thrashing necessary to ride a moder...
