I got stuck behind a 'Safety Camera' van coming home from work today. Windey lanes and the only passing chance would mean full throttle in 2nd before a 90 degree RH bend follwed by a 90 degree LH. Normally not a problem but I abstained.... I know I couldn't be done as the van was moving and it's only civillians operating them but I decided to be patient. BTW the van was doing 40 in a 60 limit.
It then turned left into a single track lane - same way I was going. Amazingly it indicated left, slowed down and the driver waved me past. Gave him a thumbs up and razzed past. Still hate the b8stard but it was very generous of him to let me past in a place where overtaking is pretty much impossible.
