Silver Vectra - Beds and Herts

caught the last ten mins of Traffic cops on BBC1 last night and the Beds/Herts road policing lot were trundling around the A10/A1 in a plain silver Vectra it looked like, couple of rectangular lights in the top of rear windscreen.

Is this a current programme? Would have thought Vectras were long gone, unless it was whatever replaced them

Up to a couple of years ago plod around stansted ,Dunmow and Braintree area used to have an old 'S' reg Senator unmarked, caught out many unsuspecting drivers due to its age. I only know because I live in the area and often saw the blue lights in the back after he pulled someone over.
