hi guys my 97 vtr is lying up about 5 months , how do i drain the carb bowls does the fairings have to come off to get at the bowl drain screws, cheers

No need to remove the fairing. the drains are located on the right by the idle adjustment on the front carb and on the left on the rear carb.

If you are having trouble finding them, they are the flat bladed screw right above the drain nipples.
