So after sorting out our Booze adelled brains Myself, Jonesy & Michaela went out for a spot of lunch.

Found a nice pub with grub & had a very pleasent scoff.

Then back to chez Jones, quick change & off to Colchester for a spot of cricket.

Kev L & Mrs Kev were already there soaking up the sun.

Set up the trophy on the scoring table.

St James had been set a tartget of 171 to win which they failed being bowled out for 150.

So after the game all the players gathered round & one of Johns teamates gave a very nice speach.

After that it was my turn, there wasnt really a lot I could say following that so I kept it brief & just said this trophy was donations from VTR.org & a facebook page & in total nearly £1000 was raised.

The balance will be donated to the Air ambulance, Hedgehog rescue & for a bottle of something to take to Wales for toast to John.

Congratulation on the win Handed over the trophy shock his hand & took a round of applause.

There are some pictures of the hand over but I've vetoed the publication on the grounds that I look like a beached Walrus on a bad day...

Yes you're right Mac that was a lovely speech by one of Wicky's team mates.

Many thanks for posting the video's Mac and for everything you have done to make this happen.

Well done to all who attended the cricket match yesterday, I'm glad the weather was good for you,

Chris.

Mac, you've really done a great job with this.

I can imagine John sitting on the sideline, with that content smile, watching the day unfold.

Thank you for all your hard work.
