lockdown project

Post by Carlosfandango »

Now that we have been locked down for the winter I thought I would get a project to work on.

I am the proud owner of a 98 'Storm with 16K on the clock - don't people use bikes these days? I've got more miles on a 3 year old BMW.

Might be looking for some help on cam chain tensioners and regulator/rectifiers by the look of it! anything else I should watch out for?

i would post some picture but have not worked out how yet, any suggestions?

Thanks

Carlos

I use Tapatalk since photobucket disappeared up its own butt! Really easy to add photo’s.

The choke nuts (plastic and brittle) will likely break if you have to work on the carbs, alloy replacements are better and available from Rugged Roads. Front and rear suspension and brakes stand some work to improve them but they’re great bikes.

Or just use the attachments bit, if you scroll down from the page your writing your post on.

You'll see Attachments. Click on Add Files. It will bring up the pics on your device. Click on the pic you want. Click save. It will download to the box on the page. It will give you a choice to place inline or delete.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
