Where did you source the exhaust mounts from?

More stickers for today..... the old exhaust sticks kind of gave up while cleaning the cans this time

Image

So after a bit of a search I was able to find some 20cm old style Akra sticks with the HRC tag

Image

Looking a bit better, though getting all the old sticker residue off was a pain.

and yes I did both sides.....lol

Now to figure out what to do with the next bit.....

While not hard to find, Gilles wants an outrageous amount for a heal protector.....

For this little bit they want right around $100 us.
Now if it was really carbon maybe but as you can tell from the bit I have worn through it is just fiberglass with a layer of carbon on top.

Well getting Ol' Blue (the dodge 4X4) running to a bit longer than expected...and truck part are a bit more than bike bits....$1400 for a set of tire was an eye opener....lol

but now is time to get back to this project. 8)
A few things have shown up in the post lately.....

Image

a couple of weld on -6 fittings

Image

and the little box....which was deceptively small for how much it cost....lol

Image

but when opened has all the bits needed to completely refresh a set of heads....it has everything except buckets, spring seats & retainers

Another box should show up tomorrow with a bunch more stuff but the part I'm waiting on is a new set of isolators so I can finish porting this set of heads before sending them in..... I guess it's time to actually pull the bike apart
