dont know how to post ebay links but there's a beautiful mondial on there with a SP1 motor. fabulous engineering

Not sure what that is, but images of beating it with a lump of tree spring to mind.

How about a possible (I've never heard of them and would do some research) aftermarket ECU:

i wonder what that actually is? as in maybe based on the HRC unit?

By looking at their site, in the link I posted, it looks like it could be their version of a HRC ECU.

Haynes workshop manual cheap enough at the moment :)

It's a handy thing to have if you enjoy tinkering with your bike, just don't follow the instructions for removing the CCT's.
