Lightened flywheel exchange

Post by templ8 »

I have a spare firestorm flywheel that has been machined down to a weight of 5lbs 11oz.
Machined by myself ( time served engineer), properly centered before machining on my lathe to ensure no vibration issues.

Comes without the starter clutch.

I'm offering this on an exchange basis, I'll post it to you then send me your standard one back in exchange and i'll refund a deposit upon receipt.

Price is £80, with a refundable deposit of £20 once I receive your old standard flywheel.

UK only I'm afraid.

If there's enough demand I may start machining these regularly.

I can also get them done as I have for many other members .
Tho I don't have any in stock and my engineer likes to do a few at a time .

No worries, I'll try and source an oe flywheel and use that as I probably wouldn't be able to turn it around that quick (just about to start on a self build which is going to keep me busy!)

For anyone swapping a flywheel you will need a rattle gun.

Is this still valid?
