It's been a really good project to do - learnt so much stuff - like how rebuilding forks isn't as hard as you think! Bleeding brakes is still a pain in the butt though!! No snapped bolts either, although the two bolts that hold the front of the tall section on (hidden by the front of the seat were done up so tight that when I undid them, the captive bolt part began to rotate around - if anyone has a fix for that, I'd like to know!

All done in under 3 weeks too, with only really evenings to work on it!

Just looking forward to getting her mot'd and riding her now!

Great job Ted, your putting us to shame. PM me if you want a blast up round Salisbury any time. Do you intend to go down to Poole Quay, I've hardly ever seen another Storm down there apart from mine.
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

I haven't been down to Poole Quay yet - but I haven't had a bike for the last 3 years due to work/life commitments etc.

I'd PM you too, but I don't know how many posts I have to make before I'm allowed that privilege!!

Just thought you'd all like to know, the bike passed MOT on Weds!! All it needed was the headlamp aim adjusting, and there was an advisory given on 'play in lower shock mount' - which the tester said you won't even notice when the weight of the bike is weighing down on it!!

Happy Ted here!!
