Dead speedo

Post by scrumps »

Hi everyone, finally had the dead speedo thing happen to me, at least for one day only. To try and prevent, is it worth spaying some WD40 on back of speedo or is it the other end that the terminals get dodgy? Any help appreciated!!

I've had to replace my speed sensor twice in 80,000 miles. It's probably more likely to be that than an issue in the meter itself. They're not cheap...I found that Partzilla was the cheapest option even with the overseas postage.
