CCT Best make

Post by mjvw »

Have been reading all the posts regarding CCT options, when looking at manual type there appears to be a wide spread in price range.

Example

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163531191293

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124875403140

Any preference reason/argument for more expensive CCT's, going to fit over winter.
May take another look at the stopper mods again.
Thanks in advanced.

The first ones from camchaintensioner_co_uk are great, seems much better engineered than my old APEs, which are troublefree anyway ...

I know its predictable, but I still vote stopper mod :D

but if you are going for manual CCT, it is just a long bolt in a threaded housing. you don't want it to come undone and you don't want it to leak oil, that's about it
