For myself

had the results of a biopsy today not good got a melanoma that has to be removed. Thank god my gf noticed that the mole was looking a bit strange

Mixed news that - bad having it, but good you got it diagnosed early. Hope you get it sorted mate.

My 'storm sailed through it's MOT this morning, didn't notice the date until I wrote the cheque..!

Thanks m8 its been a bit of a day if the gf had not noticed I would not have as its in the middle of my shoulder blades :(

I had my spat of infrequent and unavoidable misfortunes come sooner!

My Operating System drive (c:) on my work machine went bye byes during a regular scheduled back-up (subsequently failed to defrag, scan, boot to, repair, format) after 4 and a half years of solid almost continuous processor-intensive use. Akin to a CCT failure (bent valves and all), it took two solid days (30hrs plus) to return to full production status with myriad of programs and connections reset.

Peched out, I took the day off so nothing (else) could go wrong!

Fri 13th for me was much the same as any other Fri ,the engineering factory where i work is still not working a full week due to short-time :!:

Was a good day in respect of getting a day off work :) ,but a bad day ,cos we dont get paid for it :(

Thanks for all the kind wishes , have to go back to trelisk in 4 weeks time to have some more tissue removed and for them to check any other marks that may look a bit suspect . :D
