cam chains rattling

Post by warby221 »

Wells engines been getting nosier and nosier.

There’s been a sort of rattle first from the front cylinder then the rear started in. :redface

Thought to myself I need to have a look at this as it sounds like the cam chains rattling a bit this could be expensive.
:mad2

Got the bike on the stand and started it up “defiantly the cam chains” :mad2 :mad2

So got the spanners out and 3 mins later hey presto rattle has gone. :)

Gotta love APE manual adjusters LOL       :biggrin :biggrin :biggrin

Have you ever done em to tight ? just need some pointers on adjustment as mine sound like someone blowing over a bottle on start up when warm, do you reckon they are to tight?
