DataTool vito Alarm removal
Hi, I have a DataTool vito Alarm which i think is draining my battery after 8 days the battery is totally flat is it a big job to remove?
Re: DataTool vito Alarm removal
Geoff,
You could try using a battery charger/monitor that is specifically meant for a bike, that will keep the battery charged up, would be easier than removing the DataTool Alarm. Plus your bike will still have it's security

The alarm should not drain your battery flat in 8 days, if it can't hold more charge than that sounds like it needs replacing.
As suggested, an Optimate is a good investment - particularly if you don't use the bike every day.

Hi Geoff, I have the same alarm on my Storm and it normally takes about 3 weeks for it to drain the battery, so I bought an optimate charger and this solves the problem easy. I just plug it in when I park it up in the garage
