pishy weather .

Post by bikerpiker »

From temperatures in the mid 20's a few weeks ago,to the cold weather were getting now :(

Was all ready to go a bike run , the plan was to get the ferry over to the Cowal Peninsula and explore some of the empty roads over there ,but i'm just waiting on confirmation from the lads ,i fear it might be cancelled :(

It's to brighten up later accordin to the various weather forecasts i looked at

Well ,one lads said he's not going ,and the other 3 of us have decided to go ,if it gets too bad we'll head for home ,...it's a bit blawy ootside, i might actually phone the ferry company to see if its still sailing ,as i know the Arran ferry was cancelled yesterday due to the weather.

Got to get ready..wooohooo :)

Just spent a week in Cornwall with my son and daughter. Stayed at Fowey. Got a couple of beach days in, poured on Monday but was at the Eden Project so it didn't matter too much.

Chris, I envy you living down there - there seem to be some great roads down there and generally good surfaces too :D
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

S** the forecast just get out there! If you do enough miles you should find dome sun. I did not regret my run out yesterday but with the road spray the Blade now looks 5 years old instead of 4 months. Oh well time to get the marigolds out

Had a great afternoon yesterday. Did a steady 150miles around the peaks with 17 from the Buell owners group. Was rather fun-even got a free lunch :biggrin

Called in Matlock on the return-bloody heaving 8O Managed to have a good look at a Desmosodici RR parked up outside a pub. Went and sat about 150 yards further up the road with a cuppa then noticed a crowd gathering-the guy who owned it was about to leave...the noise 8O It sounded just like a GP bike. Amazing.

They sound and look pretty special, I have seen two now, one when me and Tim were out and about near Ilkley way and one in Lincoln at Italia Moto.
