Anudder One

Post by scoffey »

Hi all
Nudder newbie here in de west of Oirland. Just traded in a briefly-owned 98 35k job for an 01 16k. Ting is the 98 had Microns, so am gonna do a bafflectomy on the 01. I wonder has anyone penetrated beyond the rear baffle, that is, without sawing the end off the can? (I've seen those pics from the American cousin's site) What I had in mind was somehow interfering with the next set of baffles...

hail and farewell

Welcome aboard scoffey :!: :D

I have a feeling you will need to cut the end off to remove the next set off baffle's, but I could be wrong :!:

Hi mate,
i removed the rear baffle on mine, but never touched the inner ones CLICK--- http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... ns#p105412 ,but i do remember someone on this forum telling me they used a long sharp steel bar , sharpened to a point, to burst a hole in the inner baffle plate :!:

Heres a pic of what you see when the outer rear baffle is removed ,its not normally visible , really only seen with the camera flash. Image
