AC/DC Wembley 26/06/09

Post by Jonesey »

Well... what a mind blowing show.
I've been to quite a few gigs in my time, including Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd- but last night was the BEST gig I have ever seen.
My ears are still ringing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cupasoup, you've got a treat in store. Amazing.

Yeah, the wife went, and said it was good.
I didn't fancy it, so gave the ticket to a mate.

(yeah, I know, missed opportunity, just couldn't work up the enthusiasm to sit in her car for three and a half hours to get there and another two and a half getting back. She gets funny on public transport, and has to drive everywhere.)
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Think it says doors open at 4 but no idea when it starts. Thin Lizzy were meant to be the support but their drummer broke his collar bone and I don't know who's replacing them.

Who did you have Jonesy?

The support was The Answer, who were really good, and The Subways, who were ok, but just did'nt fit in with the answer and ac/dc.
