Ok, this is the description from the ebay sale.

1999 Honda VTR Firestorm Anniversary Edition (No 14 out of 50)

This is a highly collectable factory upgraded edition of an already fantastic bike, built to celebrate honda's 50th year in the UK. It came from the factory with the following upgrades:

Remus Grand Prix exhausts ; Proflex suspension ; Harris fully adjustable rearsets ; Ohlins Steering Damper ; Carbon Fibre Chain guard, tank protector and bodywork. ; Custom Honda paint job; Goodridge braided hoses ; Tuning by RS performance (extra BHP to standard apparently)

Does it state it anywhere on the docs?

Then again-who cares? It looks very nice and provided you didn't buy it just on that premise so what?

It's got loads of quality bits anyway. And before anyone states it-I know that "if" its not an anniversary model it shouldn't have been advertised as that...

I'm sure someone with more knowledge of these things than me will be able to tell you if it is the afore mentioned model or not asap.

Enjoy :D

Hi
I am not to bothered if it really is or is not the real McCoy but its nice to have a few nice bits on it. I think at £2000 its not cheap and its not way over on the price...

Its has the plack on the headstock area with the No 16 of 50 etc and as far as i can see all the factory extras are there. The bike shop i worked at years ago said all they did was the decals and paint job on the ones they sold to look a bit like the anniversary edition bike.

As you might think im like a 10 year old boy waiting for his fist BMX at christmass.

Ill let you know on monday if its all i think it will be.

For a bike like that 2g isnt bad really.

If you bought a "standard" bike and added all those bits it'd cost you a fare bit on top.

I like it. Nice bike.

Hi

Well ive got it... and its so comfy compared to my old rd400 hybrid... Im getting it taxed and insured tomorrow so ill be out and about soon.

Ok its not as clean as the images show but nothing abit of elbow grease wont cure... Maybe my standards are higher than the guy i bought it off but i wouldnt sell a bike with dirty wheels etc.

Its got a few chips on the plastic but thats about it.

The very short test ride ive done (private road) was great. This is the first big bike ive had but it just felt great and the power was amazing even though I hardly open her up.

All the trick bits look good, real carbon fibre etc. The bike was tuned by RS performance as part of the factory limited edition spec, its supposed to have more bhp than standard...Ill try and find out what they did.

Regards

Hi
My mate has just been given a 50cc Honda. Really ruff but under all the crap we found a sticker, its only a 50th anniversary edition bike. Honda must of made a lot of anniversary bikes. I know they did a VFR 800, CBR600, Blackbird, it would be nice to know what other models they made.
Loving my bike.
