new battery required

Post by Drac »

Sadly i haven't had sod all time to ride the bike for god knows how long.

Since the MOT last year i reckon ive only put 500 miles on it, anyway to cut a long story short the battery is fecked. Anyone used tinterweb to order a replacement?, local car/cycle motorbike place hasn't got one in they say will fit.

Any reccomendations as to what to avoid or who from is appreciated.

Personally if you're intending to keep the bike for a few years I'd go with an OE (original equipment) replacement which is a Yuasa. The link below shows one for the earlier Firestorm. The later model (19ltr petrol tank) had a smaller battery.

Make sure you check your battery code first (it'll be on your battery) before ordering so you get the correct one :?:

If you still won't be using your bike very much then invest in a motorcycle battery charger/moniter, otherwise you will need another new battery next year,

Chris.
