I found this elsewhere ,it might be of interest to you guys South of the border .

You can view the types of crime ,and whether they have increased or decreased in your area ,there is also a bit about how many police officers are in your areas police force .

You can also zoom in to specific areas of the regions you chose.

apparently according to that crimes have gone down in S Wales.!!!
My eldest is at Swansea uni on a motorcycle engineering course, 2nd full year after doing a topup course .
been riding his bike around there for ages, last November a woman hit him off of his bandit 1200 in t he roadworks outside Cardiff on the M4 in the 50 roadworks. she was going to do a runner but the woman truck driver in a 18tonner managed to get the law there and she was taken away attempted hit and run. he was lucky as the truck just missed his head by inches.
got the bandit back , cat c and road ready again, he decided to sell as lost heart with it after blinging bits on. Swapped it for a Mille, earlier this year. Both bikes sat outside his house no problems all that time, sold the mille so he could concentrate on racing a Aprillia SXV super moto, good results for his first races overall 6th from 3 races

the mille went for a crf 450, kept in t he uni, he decided it was dead money and got an offer, locked the crf outside his house double chains to the wall and double disc locks, within the half hour daylight some lightfingered article had it away.
a neighbour half saw it abd knocked on the door. short of it is after the bizzies turned up it was found with 2 other bikes 4 doors away in a garage. All waiting for removal that night. crime gone down.... dont think so, he was lucky
