You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

i woul've clicked straight past them thinking they were standard ones.
looking at my vipers earlier, the left one is bent for the first 3"" or so and the bracket that holds the end plate on is a bit fkt, so before i buy new ones i might drill out the rivets and see if i can cut them down a bit
then fit a megafone on the end to make them even louder!!!!
