had a good day out meself, got passed by a 911 and a caterham smoking it's butt off so i pretended i was plod and pursued them down the winding a34 at ridiculous knots!
was waiting for today cos i knew the roads would be empty and all the plod round town looking for pissheads.
really fkt me off cos without realising i'd set my gopro to take 5 stills instead of continuous vid
might go back there tomorow cos it's a belting run - did it in the car the other day on the way back from a site and said oh yes
carried on along the infamous cat & fiddle - surprisingly at 45 - 50 on them bends you can still get the knee down and scrape the pegs.

came home to see what i'd filmed and was gutted - just a few stills of me putting the cam in it's case lol
so i went out again.... this time i had my daughter on the back so didn't go mad - i'll upload it after - nice ride.
still don't know wtf is up with my sound tho, you can hear the engine purring sweetly but theres a lot of popping and static in the background - wondering if it's interference from the plugs & maybe i need some filters or sumat>>>??

have you got the volume set on low? maybe its distorting from been too loud.Mine is on totally default settings apart from reversing the polarisation. usd on the menu i think .

Argh operation storm is only weeks away now I still aint seen anyone off here yet, theres a few in this area Would defo be up for a ride out though. .... I dont need much of an excuse

yup LO it says. might try sticking a rizzla over the mic cos it worked with my other one.
and email support to see if theres a fix for it.
i thought it was with using alkaline batteries with a slightly higher voltage???
apart from that it's bob on.
on asda rechargeables now btw, last about 20 mins top tho.

re op storm - didnt realise it was midweek until abb said - with time off after my crash then taking 2 weeks hol i might not be able to book time out midweek but if i can get away i'll be there for the craik innit

I've got a GoPro HD and still experimenting with it.

I stick mine to the Speedo, which is OK, but the screen distorts a little. My mate Dave filmed me at Rockingham but it was a bit bouncy as it was attached to his air intake.

Do you have additional security to stop it falling off when attached to the outside of your fairing?

Hi mate, Nice vids. I know George has a saftey strap on his, Dunno bout Bennyhedges, But i Have not bothered as yet, mines just on the side fairing, and i dont think the mounting pads gunna go anywhere. Im still experimenting with mine too :)

You have to be really careful where you put those pads simply because they are bloody difficult, no, impossible to get off!

Lol, well that one is staying put where it is. Just deciding where the next one shall be hmmm might try one on my spare helmet on the side

persistant application of a hairdryer gets them off, then a bit of turps on the sticky patch
best to peel the pad off the mount, then warm up the pad, rather than try to pull it off.
chances are you will pull off a chunk of paint - they stick like sh1t lol.

btw for a lanyard i just use the loop that came with it.
if i'm filming thru the screen i loop it around my key.
had a good 140+ blast on my private motorway yesterday and it didn't budge, just got a few splattered flies on the lens lol

i am still having problems with the sound on mine tho - like it's peaking and distorting... that's on the LO setting.
my fault for having noisy cans lol!
if anyone knows a fix for this let me know - mailed support to see if theres a firmware update or summat, not got back to me yet.
other possibility is it's interference from my ignition but no-one else seems to be getting the same.

If so, it only seems to happen at certain frequencies of the engine. I'd be surprised if you can do anything about it.

yup exactly that.
thats what i was wondering, if it's rf off the ignition.

used to be a rf filter in the plug cap on most bikes - wonder if it's there on the storm>??
bet it's not!
it would mean changing the plug caps and might lower ignition performance:::?

another method of shielding is to use ceramic beads round the ht leads.. might be able to get some from work off a line reactor
glad someone else has the same sound - thought my cam was fkt!
