Organ Doners of the world unit....

Post by MacV2 »

.....in the afterlife that is.....not that I belive in the after life that is......

No seriously, below is a link to register as an organ doner, years ago I got the card but having moved a few times & the card disintergrating over time thought I would sign up on line.

However I croak, seems to be a bit of a waste just to burn me inards if they can/will help someone in need have a better life after I've gone.

Someday, someone you know or love, life's may depend on reciving a donated organ.

Also if you belive in reincarnation it must be better than coming back as a dog or cat.

Been one for around 13 years IIRC.

They can do what they want with me when I've snuffed it. It'll all be useless to me-might as well benifit someone else if possible.

after my last ding, when i sued the council, i thought it was pretty tasteless of them to send me a donor card lol 8O
i already have one btw...
some lucky recipient is going to wake up, look down and think they won the fkin lottery lol

a vampire van used to come to the works where i first served my time as a toolsetter... if we went to give blood we could go home in the afternoon, so i obviously bought it.
i tried to be brave as they pricked my finger and asked me general questions, then was led to a bed thing and made to lie down by a neanderthal nurse with a smile like a derelict graveyard...
she said you will feel a little scratch....

i looked down and there was a fkin car aerial hanging out of my arm 8O emptying me into a hoooj bloodbag 8O
anyway, when i was sufficiently drained, they said cos it was my first time i had to sit for a while and they made me a cup of tea & had some biccies, chatting to a middle aged lady.....
next thing BANG, she's gone,, keeled over backwards off these bench things and was on her back with her legs in the air  i could see the vin plate & everything lol

the lads wouldn't let me live it down for ages lol, said i'd shagged her when she was unconscious...
i said no, she was awake when i started, it happens all the time lol

so we went the horse & jocket for a few pints & game of pool straight after - jeez i was mashed lol!
value!

but next time they came around, when they pricked my finger and asked about meds, i said yes, i had paracetamol & hayfever tabs this morning plus im on antibiotics....
i still got the day off lol :biggrin
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

I have one too, as I am humanist I don't believe in any afterlife, once you die that is it, so anyone can have my bits (poor sods).
