You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

i work on the buildings round the bottom of tv masts and reguarly see guys climbing these, bloody nutters the lot of em

FFS, I'm only on 3 bike forums and this has appeared on all 3 within 45 minutes of each other.

What are those spikey things? Surely not for keeping people off the mast?
