Hi there, was going to sell my Firestorm on but could'nt find a bike with the same sweet note, so I have decided to trick mine up a touch. I already have some MTC cans on it, Hyperpro suspension all round, double bubble screen and I'm gonna throw a stage one dynojet kit in it for good measure. I have seen some other bikes at shows and the like with exhaust wrapping from the headers all the way to the end of the link pipes. Does anyone know if this will drastically affect performance and if so in what way. Any help would be schweeet!
regards
Roscoe

Re: exhaust wrapping??
Did mine a while back and it all seems good. Can't really say that i have noticed any performance difference but i have fitted a 15 tooth front sprocket too so that would explain that. It does stop a lot of heat coming up around your legs though and it gets some funny looks in the wet at traffic lights as all the steam plooms up around you and the bike. Some good prices on ebay, where i got mine from for £15 i think but you will need about 10-15 metal ties to do it properly

This is where i got mine, don't think you will find cheaper and had about 6 inches left after doing the whole headers, front and back. Might be worth ordering some metal ties while your at it or Halfrauds sell them. The short ones are a little tight so i got the long ones and cut the end off once fitted.
