heated gloves are shite imo too bulky.... or at least the ones i used to have were.
heated grips are a godsend - but go for the oxford ones, there are no better.
avoid cheapo chinese copies - ask marlbroman why lol

i went out for a blast tonight with my alpinestars prosports gloves on - bad move lol, within 15 mins i couldnt feel my fingers.
got some good rst thermal gloves with good armour & they were only £40 - only trouble is i wore them in hot weathr once and my hands got sweaty inside - when i took them off the lining turned inside out & theyve never fitted proper since.
need to poke a stick down them & push the thermal liner back in proper... i'll be needing them!

was up there with a crew on sunday mike, got a bit off track on the way back & ended up at the back of bradford, pitch dark with black visor, freezing cold once the sun set.
you got to watch them open areas for icing when you dont expect it!

over cat n fiddle tonight was wishing id fitted me heated grips - still in the box in the garage!

Yesterday Dave took the bike to work in town and he says when he swapped machines, the digital read out on the dash was-6 8O 8O 8O !!!! It was a hard frost and the cars were covered, he said he was fooking freezing and I went to work in the car with a short sleeved shirt on (Newcastle folk know when it gets cold, till then, we wait pml..) but today it was much warmer at a mild -1

Yep officially cold here. I had a very important meeting yesterday .... should have taken the car but couldn't be arsed. Don't respect the people enough for that. Feckin clients. Anyway, I had to wear my full winter kit with the liners in. Heated grips upto mid point. After an hour of riding I was begining to feel it. Roll on next year ... I hate October to March.
