Storm's gone!

Post by Giddsy »

So sold the beast today... Mixed emotions really. Very, very sad to see it go after so much fun on it. Trip down to Croatia, trip up to Scotland and a daily 50 mile commute through twistie A roads... :D

But... With the proceeds I have just booked flights to Oz for a semi-permanent stay over there for a few years... :D

I have directed the guy who bought it on to here. Seemed like a very nice chap and would fit in well...

Will keep dipping in here to see what's going on. Thanks everyone for the invaluable help and advice I have received.

Good luck with everything and if you're out in Oz - give us a shout!

Cheers

James

Best wishes to you, mate, I expect you'll have a great time, and won't miss the snow much at all

What's the new owner's name, just so we know?

And if your'e serious about giving you a shout down under dere, you'd best leave an e-mail addy, as you probably won't be checking in on this site too much longer (although you're welcome to do an update or two, of course).
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi Tony,

New owner is Paul and he lives in Portsmouth..

Mmm dunno about posting my email on a public forum. Will PM it to you and anyone interested.. Otherwise I'm thinking a PM will send an alert to my email anyways and I can pick it up then.

Thanks especially for your help with the fork springs and good luck with your new enterprise as well. Sure you will do well as you are clearly very competent!

All the best.

Probably right about posting your e-mail addy.

Hopefully we'll hear from Pompey Paul in a while!

good luck with the move gidsy - everyone i know who's gone has never looked back - it's a great place
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
