If it's been standing for long periods, as seems likely given the age and mileage, I'd also be thinking that the carbs could do with a clean, as old stale petrol leaves deposits in jets and float bowls.
And the battery isn't going to be too long before it needs a change, as well.
But it's the CCT's, as Benny says, that would give me the most concern.
Each to his own, but TBH replacing with new originals is still playing with fire.
It's not IF they'll let go, it's WHEN.
So stoppers or manuals, as has been said.
But you might be lucky, some seem to go on and on.
Did I mention I had some spare engines I can sell?
