180 or 190
180 or 190
i need a new pair of tyres for the bike and was wondering if any one has gone for the 190 rear??
Re: 180 or 190
Yes, several people have, and generally it makes the bike harder to tip into corners but looks cooler.
You chooses, and pays.
But they fit ok, a bit close to some huggers though.
Not tried it myself, though.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: 180 or 190
ive used 190s for quite a while and never had a prob with cornering etc

Re: 180 or 190
I tried a 190/50 on the stock rim and found it to be sluggish/somewhat unresponsive mid corner. I am now running a taller 190/55 (on 6-inch wide PVM rim) and all is well with the world again.

Re: 180 or 190
I run a 190 rear (came with the bike) im putting back to a 180 .
on the blade i ran both one year and i got 1000 more miles more on the 180 ,
i think its because the 190 is meant for a 6"rim ,
also the 180 did handle a lot better in corners more stable .
but thats on the blade
