Why are Honda's suppliers of parts so poor?

Post by LotusSevenMan »

I actually had a component fail yesterday morning after passing the MOT fine on Saturday.
What part? The battery! I mean it is the original on a bike first registered in May 1997 so it hasn't even made 14 years old yet! What is the world coming to if a battery won't last, well, at least sixteen years ha ha. Shocking quality and worthy of a 'disgusted of Tunbridge Wells' type Radio 4 comment! :whatever

By the way, I think if you replace your battery then a genuine Yuasa YTX 12-BS is the best bet.

as in an earlier thread, if you leave the top cover off you can get a ytx20ch-bs in which is 18a/h
much more power to your elbow for not much more wonga

there is also a20a/h ytx22ch-bs but beware it weighs 14lb lol

i think the thread was 'occasional fault / misfire' in the garage section
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
