Problems with this site when using iPad and ibook

Post by Styler4077 »

Is There an upgrade to the php for this site so that the new mac's and iPads can work properly??
You lose the scroll bars on the side when posting.

iBook also has the same problem. Will have a look at my iPhone tomorrow.

Cheers

Not true, I run a computer company and at home I'm the PC guy.
They all have iPhone's, imac's and iPad's
Steve Job's would think this place is an Apple store if he came here. :D :D :D
I just felt left out.....

Anyway how do we get this to work........ :(

And I can not wait to get out again.......... Fed up already.

Christmas soon    :Beer Popcorn:

I'm assuming that as you're an IT bod you've tried Firefox or Opera on your Ibook to see if the fault is specific to Safari or not?
Rich.

Safari's standard on the iPad and has the scroll bar issue when starting or replying to either PM or the forum
On the ibook Camino is worse as you lose any drop down boxes ....... And Safari has the same issues as per the iPad

Gotta be to do with the sites php and HTML code versions I would have thought.

Safari on PC same problem, IE and Firefox OK

Any ideas on how to stop the ipad app tapatalk from constantly apearing on the screen.
If you say ok it take you to the apple store and looses the page when you came back to the web.
If you say cancel the b8stard thing just keeps coming back and back and back and back.
You get the picture....

Then safari doesn't follow the web standards. If Opera loads the site fine (it does) then the code is fine.

Opera is very strict with web compliance.

Should of bought a galaxy or flyer :snicker:
