Hows This

Post by pariah »

Not rode the bike since last september. Spent all the time outside under the cover, used the old battery to keep charged up for the alarm.
SO.... nice day, cover off and found shes covered in white dust. Turns out to be the covering on the inside of the cover . Spent 3 hrs giving her a clean up and thought lets see if she will start.

Yeah , a couple of turns a bit of spluttering and away she went, well chuffed.... Just a shame i couldnt take her out for a spin. Oh well that will have to be later in the year now.

I thought it would not start at all , but was amazed. The fuel in the tank was from last september as well so no probs with that.

I try and keep it in good condition, dont play around with bits and bobs on it. Just keep the usual bits changed when needed. Plugs , oil and filters.
