What have I gone and done!!

Post by geodude »

I decided late last year that I was fed up being fat and set a series of goals for 2011 to lose weight. Early this year, after being told several times "You should enter a run to give you something to aim for" in a moment of madness, I signed up to the Great South Run so here we are.

I have chosen raise money for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance as they attend many bike accidents in rural and hard to get to areas. Being a keen biker, I thought it appropriate.

If you can spare a few pence in these times of austerity, please do. It will be much appreciated.

Those of you who have met me know I am not built for running!! lol

you might be needing the heli yourself after half a mile lol
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Thanks mate. You are soo right about that. I walked 5 miles across London today and that was bad enough (Earls Court to Waterloo via Battersea)

I will sponser you, but only if you fit the GoPro camera to your head and do film it for us. We can then post it a x20 fast forward speed and enter you for the olympics.

Good luck

Hmm. Not sure how I would secure it to my head. I may purchase the chest mount though!! Would that be acceptable?

When someone makes a donation successfully, it will appear on your JustGiving page as soon as it's made. So if a donation is not showing on your page, there's a possibility that the person donating may not have completed the donation process or may have donated directly to the charity instead of through your JustGiving page.

"The best option is to ask the person donating to contact our helpdesk directly. We can then use their details to search our system and see what might have happened.
Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, Weekends 9am - 5pm - Call our support team on 0845 021 2110"

I got an email saying someone donated which isn't showing on the site. But it doesn't say who within the email.
