Polished forks???

Quick question...Can ya polish fork lowers to look like chrome?...if so how coz would take about 3 years and 48 tubes of Auotsol in my mind 8O

Go to get my head round this polishing lark. :roll:

Also notice Spanishmartys Storm...Frame well polished 8) is it possible to do this yaself? :confused

I wouldnt have thought it would be practical to polish the lower forks since they are made from alloy and will mark too easily.

You could maybe get them electro plated, or powder coated?

Cheaper option is to just sand and paint them silver so they look fresh.

hello mate have a look for pics of Bazza696's bike he has polished his forks and they look great, here's a pic of it but i think there's some better ones on here somewhere his bike is the one front left

definately on that one tony, what mac's on about is that whoever polished the right side of my frame stopped there and left the other side so now i got to do it myself, had the bike since january and only found out when mac spotted it the other week :oops:

Hi Mark go to machinemart they have grinder that you can buy polishing mops for then you can polish until the cow come home. If you don.t fance that i've got a polisher and i live 20 mins from you drop your fork down and i'll do them for you.
