Not wishing to put you off but be very careful on the quads, the standards over there are poor to say the least, with little or no regard for safety. I am well qualified to comment as I own a Quad Centre in the UK and some of the stories I hear are unbelievable, suffice to say if I ran my business like they do I would be shut down overnight :eek2

Just got back from the Turkish bit of Cyprus- lovely and very cheap.

Nice to get to places before the big tour operators find it and ruin it.
And proper foreign money- Euros just don't do it any more.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

i've got lots of turkish cypriot friends and they are always saying that the turkish side of cyprus is superb and cheap, they normally go there for a month thru summer, i must drag my butt out there and find out for myself what its like, good to see you guys back in blighty......

Only probs is that you can't fly directly into Northern Cyprus, you have to touch down in Turkey first, stay on the plane, but then do a short second leg into Ercan.
Alternatively, (which is what we did) fly into Larnaca and get a £45 each way taxi ride into the north.

But definitely worth it.
