stock airbox and no filter

I started a thread in the wants section about a s/h k&n filter, this has now turned into a tecky thread with some interesting comments from members,so the subject is now about running a standard airbox with snorkle but without any filter on my dragbike, some form of protction will be fitted to the inlet to keep out stones etc, so basically open carbs but retaining the airbox to stop the turbulace and distured air that has been said to make open carbs not an option

just a tip.... running no filter mine felt fast as fook but was on 210 / 213 jets, 50 pilots and did 59 - 80 miles to a tank lol!
needless to say i have now subdued it a little as my pocket couldnt take any more!
