Post by agentpineapple »

i've never been a member of a forum which is as friendly or as informative or as helpful as this one is, last week i asked if anyone could check out a company which has been giving me the run around, and up stepped the forum member known as darkember.
who over the weekend went out of his way to help me.
i would just like to say thankyou buddy, it's people like yourself that make this forum what it is................

Have you not received your bill yet? Last time Darkember helped me out I got a letter a few days later instructing me to pay £2000+vat to an offshore account.

I ignored it and a week later these 2 arrived at my door.

They claimed they were on a mission from God but when they turned me upside down and took all the spare change that fell out of my pocket I knew they were up to no good.

unfortunately not, the industrial estate where the company are based, is strangely bare and empty according to darkember, there are loads of units but none of them have any signs above them, although there was a big sign board at the entrance stating the companies that are on site, and mc mouldings is one of those companies.
it looks like maybe that all the companies have been moved out, now weither mc mouldings is moving to another address or not i don't know, but it's not looking good, i reckon they've shut up shop, and if they do start up again, i reckon it will be under a different name.
i'm contacting ebay today but i very much doubt they can do anything in this situation.
just be aware that when a company keeps fobbing you off with excuses as to why they haven't delivered your purchase that this might be happening to you. i think i was to nice and to understanding accepting the reasons why, and giving them the benefit of the doubt, we live and learn i suppose........... :x

If you got it off ebay you should be able to get your money back, same if you paid with paypal you can phone them and lodge a complaint.

Sounds like a dodgy situation marty, but I hope you get some refunds for someone.

As per your first point about the good will and generousity of the people in this Forum...........I have to agree   .
The willingness to make an effort to help out strangers you have never met almost restores your faith in human nature, especially when you compare to the way MC Mouldings have treated you.

I have joined about 5 forum [all bar 1 are associated with each type of bike / car I have!], and this is the only one I am motivated to stay active in..........the others I search for information and if stuck I will ask a question.........they are all too personaly motivated and image concious [and a faulse image at that!] in the other Forums, but this group is like home. Some might say a residential home for the socially bewildered  , but despite the piss taking, this site is populated by open, honest and down to earth people, and long may it stay that way.

Was no hassle as it was on my way to collect some parts. Would do the same for anyone that was in need. Sorry about the outcome though :(

evening gentlemen and ladies.
i'm about to write another letter to ebay about the situation, but because the fella at mc mouldings strung me along for so long and then i had to spend some time in hospital the date of purchase is around 3 months ago, and i have a feeling that ebay will use this to their advantage, i will have to wait and see. i have two other on going cases with ebay sellers as we speak and i'm starting to think i must be the bad man in all this, but it's becoming increasingly diffcult to fight all these cases, in the last year i've had to fight the police, who wanted to proscute me for riding without due care and attention, they backed down 3 days before going to court, i'm now fighting the insurance companies for a fair settlement, i still have an on going daily struggle with my injuries, so all this ebay nonsense is the icing on the cake.
i'm sure i'm due some good news sooner rather than later, my fingers are crossed, i just wish people were more transparent and honest, it would make life so much easier. i think thats why i like this forum............
maybe mr tony mon can cheer me up on weds when i meet him for the first time, he does have a sense of humour and he will need it when he see's my bike......hahaha
i'm already looking forward to when i'm fit enough to meet up with the guys on this forum for a rideout or workshop day, it will be next year but i'm looking forward to it............
