Well not strickly all today... but I started yesterday with the following:

...and today I have completed the transformation, with the application of a top clear coat, to this:

I cannot tell you how pleased I am with it all, the result goes far beyond my expectations. :D

yesterday i went to have a look at a mate's scooter which was only managing to pull his 20 stone bulk to 15mph....
after a bit of meddling, found that a lever on the throttle cam wasnt pushing a plunger down and starving fuel at anything over 1/2 throttle, so i fixed that and lifted the needle by 1mm.
result - 40mph lol!
so i took it for a spin, lobbed it around a bit, rode it back into the workshop, hit the brakes and embarassingly highsided it, butt over tit on a fkin ped lol!!!
today i am sore. bashed ribs, scraped armpit and a whacking big bruise on my leg

Benny, isnt that always the way........you start taking liberties on a small bike and then get surprised when it bites you :D

did your mate get any pictures on his mobile?.............one of my mates fell off a ladder and broke his leg, the other bloke there had to photograph him first before he would help him to hospital, not for insurance or HSE! but so he could post on facebook and take the piss!

Today I took the beastie in for her MOT and....

..
..
..

Well blow me down with a blowy thing. She passed! I got 4 advisories. Front tyre, Rear tyre, Rear brake pad, rear brake disc showing wear.

But I passed! Next stop new boots and replace the disc and pads. So any recomendations of tyre places in and around the Portsmouth area since Russ has closed.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

If it rains, they'll match Bazza's hair....

Didn't do anything to mine, but did a complicated swappy thing with Spanish Marty and came away with a pair of six-spoke wheels.
I'm building a braced swingarm for him, and fitted a lightened alternator rotor/flywheel to his bike today.
Everyone happy!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Moved it.......Tidied the garage........Rode it...the bike not the garage........washed it, not just coz of Alec's nasty comment yesterday, but tomorrow I shall be stripping the rear end & replacing with nice shiny, new to me, powder coated swinger, linkages & sub frame! So it will be nice not to get too covered in grease.

Wish me luck, some thing's bound to go wrong! 8O
