Exhaust question..sort of
Hi. I noticed that when i put my hand over the ends of the exhausts when the engine is running that one side i can feel hot gases and the other is cold which i thought was strange, the nearside being the hottest..Can anyone tell me if this is normal and if not what could be the cause of it. Thanks

Its normal. The end of the downpipes where they link are poorly engineered and one pipe physically sticks into the other partially blocking it off, causing a smaller airflow etc. You can file it away but not sure how that would affect the fueling. I just left mine.

Jester, Tiny is right, the righthand side exhaust does run cooler due to a built in restriction by Honda. I'm not sure it's a poorly engineered system 
more like it's meant to be there IMHO. The reason I say that is some have removed this restriction and found out they wished they hadn't, as it runs better with it.
